making dinner

abbey helped make dinner, for the very first time, tonight! we made taco soup together. mommy opened all the cans and abbey dumped everything into the pot and then got to stir it (she snuck the spoon into her mouth a couple of times, too). she was so proud of herself for making dinner! she kept telling danny that she was the one who made the soup!

a good helper

abigail loves to help! while i was vacuuming the floor today abbey ran to get her little, red vacuum so she could help. she vacuumed along side me for a little while, then decided she could do a better job in mama's pumps, so off she ran to get them. i thought she looked like a little 1950's housewife, cleaning in her high heels ;D

ellie's blessing

eleanor eliza was blessed in our home on april 26, 2009. danny gave her a beautiful blessing. we were very happy that stephanie's family was able to be there for the blessing, but we missed danny's family (though they were there in our hearts!).

a busy girl

i left abbey alone to wash her hands after going potty (i had to run upstairs for something, i don't remember what). when i came back down to turn the water off for her (about 45 seconds later), this is what i found. there was a quarter of an inch of water on the floor, she was soaking wet, covered in soap, and "surfing". it was so funny all i could do was laugh and grab the camera so danny wouldn't have to miss out ;D
